In May 2017, Geert won the ArtPrize Francisco Goya during the Barcelona art biennale, and in December 2017 he was elected "ART MASTER" OF ACCADEMIA ITALIA IN ARTE NEL MONDO ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE, in Lecce It.
